Before joining the ECG, Malthe Brændholt Sørensen completed his training as a medical doctor. His PhD project, “Breathing in the Brain: A Computational Approach”, combined psychophysics, neurophysiology, and modelling to test hypotheses about how respiratory rhythms influence perception.
